Mali Zulu is a talented musician, born in a village called KwaMaphumulo, on the outskirts of Stanger in the beautiful grassy plains of Northern KwaZulu Natal. He grew up singing in school choirs from Grade One in Yellowwood Primary School in Yellowwood Park (Durban) In Grade 12 he was selected for the Northern KwaZulu Natal Youth Choir, where he got a lot of professional coaching and travelled South Africa.
In 2014 he graduated with a Diploma in IT (Networking). The same year he decide to enter the biggest show in South Africa (Idols Season 10) and went through to the Top 31.
Following Idols, Mali secured a record deal, where he was working on his own songs. Soon after this he started his Internship at Umgeni Water (ICT) in Pietermaritzburg and now working on the SAP Graduate Program.
Mali is a Musician at heart and his life is driven by Music. Mali has been performing in some of the most beautiful venues in South Africa, The Rock Music Bistro, The Lions Festival, The Dutch, Westville Fair, MiTH (Music in The Hills) to name a few and would like to go national and then international. “Good Music Is Hard To Find”.
Right now I am working on a single, an EP and ultimately my Debut Album. I am also performing a lot and its what I love doing the most. My biggest dream is to have my own Home Studio were I could offer other people a chance to experience what its like, produce creative music & see artist succeeding in there Lives & Music Career.
